About Ole Engai Growers
Ole Engai Growers is a renowned producer and exporter of summer flowers from the highlands of Kenya. With over three years of experience, our farm, based in Uasin Gishu County, started in 2022 with 10 hectares under production, expanding to 25 hectares by December 2023. Our workforce of 400 people is dedicated to upholding sustainable development practices and environmental conservation.
We have earned a strong reputation for our commitment to excellence, continually enhancing our standards, products, and services. As a significant contributor to Kenya’s economy, the cut flower industry accounts for about 1% of the country’s GDP.
Our Products
Our farms are situated in the highlands of West Kenya at an altitude of 2600 meters above sea level, providing an ideal climate for cultivating top-quality flowers.
Additionally, the equatorial location ensures our flowers receive abundant sunlight year-round, with an average of 10 hours of continuous sunshine per day, surpassing other regions worldwide without seasonal variations or schedule changes.
Summer flowers from our farms are renowned for their vibrant colors and striking shapes, offering a variety of large, explosive blooms as well as smaller yet equally stunning flowers.
Our portfolio includes 10 varieties of summer flowers such as Gypsophila, Delphinium, Limonium, and more.

Social Responsibility
Ole Engai Growers prioritizes the welfare of our employees, the local community, and upholding stringent environmental practices.
Our Employees
At Ole Engai, we take care of our employees by offering them a nourishing homemade lunch, uniforms, safety training, and on-site medical care for both the employees and their families. We prioritize exceeding local regulations on working hours, conditions, and labor rights to support our employees’ well-being at work and at home. Additionally, we uphold a zero-tolerance policy against discrimination to ensure that all employees have equal rights and opportunities.
The Environment
In terms of environmental practices, we have integrated advanced irrigation and water collection systems to reduce our water consumption and minimize our impact on nearby resources. Furthermore, we have established a recycling and composting initiative to decrease external waste. Additionally, across our farm, we employ biological controls and integrated pest management strategies instead of chemical pesticides to protect the environment, our staff, and the local community while ensuring the sustainability and prosperity of our business.
